[16/05/2008] Yesterday (15th of May), Bram Adams successfully has presented his PhD which is titled: "Co-evolution of Source Code and the Build System: Impact on the Introduction of AOSD in Legacy Systems". His PhD dissertation can be found online. Enjoy!

[02/06/2007] Our ICSM paper about MAKAO has been accepted!!! Its title is "Design recovery and maintenance of build systems" and it describes the rationale of and features provided by MAKAO, illustrated on an industrial software system as well as the Linux 2.6 kernel. Our demo proposal has been accepted as well, so if you want to learn more about MAKAO, Paris is the place to be. See you at ICSM in October!

[20/03/2007] On Monday, 16th of April, we organise a meeting to present the thesis topics for 2007-2008. There are three sessions of one hour (at 14h, 15h and 16h), end they are held in room 1.36 (old conference room) on level 1 of block 1 (Technicum). See you there!

[05/03/2007] Aspicere2 has been put online.

[06/02/2007] A workshop paper about Aspicere2 has been accepted at the SPLAT '07 workshop at the AOSD conference in Vancouver. The workshop takes place on Monday 12/03/2007.

[06/12/2006] On Wednesday 14/03/2007, we will give two demo sessions at the AOSD conference about MAKAO (at 14h45 and 16h45). See you there!

About GH-SEL

The main purpose of the research effort is to develop and to validate techniques and methodologies for software engineering. The work relies strongly on up-to-date paradigms, such as object orientation, aspect orientation and component-based software design. These techniques are applied at a level of abstraction and genericity that is as high as possible.

Programming dungeon

A collection of links, papers, documents —anything really— about programming, languages (from the famous to the obscure) and software engineering.

There is also a list of (free) development tools, but it needs a huge overhaul.
